I've gone home to my Mama now...

Here I am loaded up in Taryn's car ready to make the trip to Washington D.C. to live with my Mama again. Auntbeth is sad *sniff* and hopes I am happy and healthy. I promise to stay in touch!!

Introducing....

This is Isabella (Izzy). She is our new baby sister and believe me it is a really good thing that she is behind that fence because she is TROUBLE!! I try my best to keep her in line but it is not easy because she wants to eat everything including my ears and Teddy's ears and all my toys and even our chipmunks and sticks!! And she keeps getting bigger so it's very scary. She was very tiny at first so I could keep her in line pretty easily but now her paws are almost as big as mine!! I think maybe AuntBeth should stop feeding her. AuntBeth wants me to say that me and Teddy do secretly like her and I guess I should because most of the time we do like her and let her sleep with us and we even give her kisses sometimes. Well, we have to we can't help it and also frankly we're worried she's going to takeover pretty soon so we need her to like us - she can be pretty scary.

I guess that's all for now - pretty big change here - HI MAMA!!!!!

In memory of Annie....

Annie left us on August 30th. She was very sick. We are all so very sad. AuntBeth has had the leaky eyes. She made this video of Annie.

Well, we've been pretty busy and it's been raining a lot which must make the squirrels kind of stupid cause me and Teddy and Annie caught this one we're not telling who killed it but Annie got it and wanted to show it to AuntBeth and tried to take it in the house and then tried to put it on her feet and finally traded it for some turkey. AuntBeth did not seem as happy about this prize as we thought she would!! What is her problem? Anyway, I am recovering from the 4th of July booming I hate so much it is wayyyy scary!!

HAPPY GOTCHA DAY TO ANNIE!!!!

Today is Mother's Day and also Annie's 7th GotchaDay. Seven years ago today AuntBeth brought home a very scared and sad Annie who was not very happy about going anywhere new again. Those days are all forgotten now and she is a happy happy girl and of course a princess!! Personally, I love Annie and she loves me even though I sometimes step on her she still wags her tail at me and smiles so HAPPY GOTCHA DAY to Annie who is a sweet girl and a good sport! And also Happy Mother's Day to my Mama out there somewhere and just for her we're going to try to add a picture of mememememe. Oh ok it is above Annie but that's ok cause I am soooo handsome!!!

We love you Mama and would love to hear from you!!! Sometime soon would be nice!!!!

HAPPY CINCO de MAYO!!!

Hey guess what it's May!!!! I don't know what the heck Cinco de Mayo is but AuntBeth said she had to try to make me look Mexican. Of course I just look foolish but she doesn't care about that. But that's ok - I'll get even. Maybe I'll eat this toy - she hates that!! Or I could eat some of her new plants but really it's ok I know she loves me and is just trying to get my mama's attention because WE HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HER IN QUITE AWHILE!! So if you see me, please say hello. We hear we might even see you soon oh boy but that is almost too much to wish for so we will just keep wishing and hoping that you are safe and sending you all our love. WE MISS YOU!!!

SPRING IS SPRUNG!!

Oh boy it is spring and the flowers are blooming and it's warm and the windows are open so there is way more to bark at now and I am very busy. A recent highlight here was Annie killed a squirrel (she is my hero) and brought it in to the living room to show AuntBeth. Nothing I have ever done could top that. I thought I was going to have to figure out how to call 911 cause AuntBeth sort of went into shock over that one. I guess that's all I have to report for now so just wanting to say hi to my mama and hoping she is safe and knows we miss her and love her!!!

Now what?????

This is too much. We just had a big fat snowstorm, there's not a rabbit in sight and so she wants me to look like one? I think she needs help. I am a lot of things but I am definitely not a bunny rabbit. In fact, if I ever encountered a bunny rabbit, I hesitate to tell you what I might do to it. Do I look cute in bunny ears? Well...sure I do. But that is beside the point. If she gives me a basket and tells me to go looking for eggs, I am going to run away and join the circus.

HAPPY GOTCHA DAY TEDDY

Today is Teddy's 5th GotchaDay!! Happy GotchaDay big guy - we are sure glad we found you!! You are a very good boy and we love you very much!!

This is me and my friend Trooper playing with his toy (it is his toy but I would like it to be mine mine mine). I like to help him find it and I am very good at doing that but I never take the toy mainly because I always must have a ball in my mouth. I love to play with Trooper - he is my favorite park buddy.

My spring wardrobe...

Although it appears that spring may never ever come again, I have decided to at least start thinking about my spring wardrobe. I think this hat could work ... perhaps with a pair of khakis and some leather sandals. Or some white linen shorts. Ahhhh puts me in mind of mint juleps, truly a springtime drink. I am so fond of springtime. The smells, the mud, the melting of ice and snow followed by finding long-forgotten treasures in the yard. And there is the rolling in smelly things to look forward to. Annie and Teddy like to do this as well as dig up old stuff in the dirt. It will come, it can't be that far...
